Great?
The secret of Jimmy Fallon's wonderful way of being, is that he constantly interacts with his band, with his audience, with his guests, with every unexpected calamity, with everyone who helps to produce his show, and with those who come up with a brand-new way of doing things.
Most people are not like that. They find it incredibly threatening to exist in the moment, to change accordingly, and to interact with unplanned and uncontrolled events.
If you take a good look at all the people with whom you work, play, meet for lunch or do a project with, you'll discover that almost all of them have an agenda created by their own emotional, intellectual, or professional needs.......and that nothing you do or say
(trust me: nothing(!)
.....will ever stop them from laying this agenda on you. They don't want to interact with you or with anyone else they meet, and they simply do not wish to change their own behavior patterns in order to adjust themselves to a new situation, a new idea, or a new relationship.
Even individuals who have actually retained you to come up with a brand-new concept or invention, don't really want you to present them with something that was not on their agenda and with which they'd be forced to interact on an unfamiliar level.
Just about everyone you'll ever meet, will turn out to have an agenda, and when someone asks you, "Who was the REAL son of God?".......or "Who is the REAL King of Pop?".......you can be certain that the response they seek, is neither Jesus nor Michael Jackson.
There's no sure way to decide who is what. I just know that when I feel bored and exhausted, I'm with a person who's got an agenda.......and that when I feel alive and creative, I'm with someone who interacts.
